Common Questions

What does "Refurbished – Grade A" mean?

Grade A machines have no more than light cosmetic wear and pass every point of our 30-point test. Grade B machines are fully functional with visible cosmetic wear such as scuffs or small dents, and are priced accordingly. Every listing shows the grade and real photos of the actual unit.

Do you ship?

No. Every order is local pickup at our York shop. It keeps prices down and lets us walk you through the machine in person.

What is covered by the 90-day warranty?

Hardware defects on refurbished machines: components that fail under normal use. Accidental damage, liquid, and software issues you introduce are not covered, though we will help you sort them out at our normal repair rates.

Can I trade in or sell my old computer?

Often, yes. Bring it by or send us the model and condition through the repair form and we will make an offer or apply it as credit toward a purchase.

How long does a repair take?

Diagnostics are usually same day. Most repairs are done in one to three business days depending on parts. We quote before we do any paid work.

Do you build PCs for things other than gaming?

Yes. Workstations for video editing, CAD, and small-business servers follow the same quote process as gaming builds.
